Training is available in a wide range of topics e.g. breeding and grow-out techniques of Tilapia, Catfish, Pangasius, Shrimp, Sea bass, Snakehead, Shrimp/prawn, Crabs, Oysters, Musselss, Seaweeds and others. Similarly, we also include various models of aquaculture systems and management techniques such as integrated farming, re-circulating aquaculture, aquaponics, fertilization, feeding, feed formulation and feed manufacturing business, and so on. Study tour: is either a stand-alone or a part of the training mentioned above, organized to visit government stations, markets and successful private farms to have conversation with farmers who can give you some secrets to success. Depending upon the needs of the clients, the length and type of tour would be customized.

Training program is not limited to above mentioned topics, please contact us for your specific interest / need.
Each lecture of all modules will be followed by Question and Answer (Q&A) with active participation of trainees. Participants will be given field-based assignments and will be asked to practice/work in ponds, hatcheries etc.
Participants will be asked to prepare and present reports at the end. A limited relevant field visit will be organized as a part of each module.

5-week or more: add US$300 to the 4-week fee for every additional week
A service fee of US$500 per day is charged in addition to the actual cost of transport, food and supplies.

We also organize various agriculture courses such as:
Consultancy: The Centre also provides consultancy e.g. project evaluation and monitoring of NGOs or international organizations, technical assistance and feasibility studies for the establishment, planning, designing and running of fish farms including tilapia hatcheries.
Supplies: In addition to providing technologies, the Centre helps sourcing of broodstock, equipment and materials e.g. incubators, trays, hapa nets etc. required for establishing and running aquaculture research facilities and businesses. Similalry, brood fry of Red or Nile tilapia, sex-reversed fry, pangasius, sea bass, snakehead, etc. AIT also offers internship or longer term (1-3 months) hands-on work experience programs in various fields.
